Speaking about joining the station, he said: "I'm excited to once again embrace my status as the world's oldest nepo baby. It's great to have the Wogan name back on the radio and I'm delighted to be on the air with Virgin Radio UK." Stuart Davies, content manager at Virgin Radio UK, added: “Mark has many stories to tell and I'm sure our listeners will enjoy his wit, style and that suave voice inherited from his dad.
” Mark owns and operates the popular pizza restaurant Homeslice Pizza in London and regularly releases episodes of his podcast, Spooning with Mark Wogan, which sees him go out for a meal with a celebrity guest in swanky London restaurants. Previous guests include Laura Whitmore, Angela Scanlon, Pixie Lott, and Dawn O’Porter. Ryan Tubridy also appeared on the podcast back in March, sharing an image of himself and Wogan chatting over some pizza in London.
