Ted Danson recently apologized to Kelsey Grammer for a decades-old argument they had while working together on “ Cheers .” On the Oct. 23 episode of the “Where Everybody Knows Your Name” podcast , co-hosted by Danson and Woody Harrelson, Grammer and Danson reminisced about their time together on the hit NBC sitcom and discussed what their relationship was like off-camera.

“I feel like I got stuck a little bit with you during the ‘Cheers’ years,” Danson told Grammer. “I have a memory of getting angry at you once.” “Yeah, you came and told me that one day,” Grammer chimed in.

The former “Cheers” co-stars didn’t reveal any specifics about the dispute. “It’s stuck in both of our memories. But I feel like I missed out on the last 30 years of Kelsey Grammer and I feel like it’s my bad, my doing,” Danson admitted, “and I almost feel like apologizing to you.

” He continued, “No, I don’t feel like — I apologize to you and me that I sat back, you know, and didn’t. And I really do apologize.” Grammer thanked Danson for the apology and said he, too, wishes they had “spent some more time together.

” “My love for you has always been as easy as the day,” Grammer said. “As easy as the sunrise.” Danson played Sam Malone during the sitcom’s 11-season run from 1982 to 1993, while Grammer appeared as Dr.

Frasier Crane between 1984 and 1993. The “Cheers” cast also included Harrelson, Rhea Pearlman, Shelley Long and John Ratzenber.
