If I am honest I think this is a microphone that's designed primarily with a younger audience than my middle-aged self in mind. Billed as a gaming microphone great for streaming and content creation, it's fair to say that there's a demographic that is being aimed at that probably isn't me. I'm not a person who gets enough time to do a lot of gaming, I'm not a YouTuber or content creator, but I am a man who spends an awful lot of time on video calls.

The pleasing thing was, that this is actually perfect for what I need and my everyday work use. I just found this really good in every area and very simple to use. There's nothing to learn here.

It's not a product where there are 1,000 things to, try and work out. You literally just plug in the USB and away you go. There are two buttons, one to turn on the subtle multi-coloured lights around the base of the microphone.

And a second button to turn the audio on and off. It's a really compact, light design and it doesn't take up much space on your desk. The all-important sound performance is really good.

I've done some playbacks and tested it in a number of situations from meetings, to podcasts, and gaming. The result is the same for all, a very clear, perfectly acceptable performance that is brilliant for the price. It's a really snazzy little device, it looks quite professional and I have to say it's just a great all-round product whether you're a 14-year-old doing your gaming, or your podcast, or you're more of an old hand like me.
