I have to be honest, I do love a pair of headphones, earphones, or earbuds - whatever you want to call them. I have many pairs, in all shapes and sizes from in earbuds to over big oversized noise-cancelling headphones. I do consider myself a bit of an enthusiast, rather than an expert, but I will admit I wasn't too sure what to make of a product with a rather long title.

The 'OpenRockX open-ear air conduction sport earbuds' is a wordy moniker to say the least, and my first experience of this type of open-ear device. The first thing I noticed before even seeing the earbuds was the rather snazzy, compact charging case they came in, it's very neat and has a nifty little button press that opens up the compartment with the buds in. The earbuds and case are crafted from high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and solid aluminium alloy.

When taking the buds out it's apparent that the quality is very important to the makers, they look very good, yet they are very lightweight. I had expected something a little heavier, but these were a pleasant surprise because when you put them around your ear, you quickly forget they are there. The design is with sports and movement in mind, so I quickly ran around a bit, shook my head, and bounced on the spot a bit - no movement whatsoever.

They are designed with comfort in mind and to rest rather than sit in the ear, the over the ear loop is very unintrusive, yet they remain secure where they are and perfectly weighted. None of this is .
