The 327-strong group of athletes managed to surpass Team GB's total medal haul from the Tokyo Olympics by claiming 65 medals in total.

And fresh from their success in the French capital, the sports stars were quick to settle back into everyday life , documenting their exploits on social media. However, rower Hannah's return was somewhat more eventful to say the least as she received a hero's welcome after making her way back to her hometown of Coleraine, Northern Ireland . As the country's first female Olympic gold medallist in 50 years, it was little wonder they were in the mood to celebrate, with Hannah, 25, greeted with cheers and applause as she arrived at Bann Rowing Club, where she has been a long-term member.
