When Jack Broadbent found out Taylor Swift was due to play at a stadium he can see from his flat, it seemed like a dream come true. But the superfan struggled to land a seat for one of the music icon’s Wembley shows when they went on sale last summer. Like thousands of other disappointed Swifties, Jack turned to resale site Viagogo only to find the cheapest £58 seats – with a restricted view – were now a staggering £985.

So it was a case of Look What You Made Me Do for Jack, 26, who jetted off to Italy to see Taylor perform – for half the price. He paid £200 for his return flights and a ticket to see his idol sing at Milan’s San Siro football stadium set Jack back £299 on Viagogo. The council worker said: “I guess the reason they’re so expensive in London is because it’s an iconic stadium.

But it’s not fair people can snap the tickets up and sell them for such huge profits. “Real fans are missing out. So many people weren’t able to get tickets when they went on sale, but loads seem to pop up on these sites.

“When they first went on sale, me and my friend were both on our laptops, clicking away, but the demand was huge. “The crazy thing is, I can see the Wembley arch from the window of my apartment but I ended up going all the way to Italy. “The tickets there were so much cheaper – there were some for 103 Euros, but they had restricted views.

” Jack made his solo trip to Milan last Sunday and used his birthday money to fund the adventure. “.
