The Kansas City Chiefs found a way to remain perfect in 2024, defeating the New Orleans Saints on Monday to move to 5-0. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were instrumental in the victory, as the star quarterback threw for a season-high 331 yards. Kelce caught nine passes for 70 yards in the win, another encouraging performance after his slow start to the season.
Life is good for the Chiefs right now, and the same can be said for two of their biggest supporters. During the game on Monday, Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes watched the game from the same luxury suite. They took the time to recreate one of their most famous photos from last season , as Swift and Lyndsay Bell (wife of former Chiefs tight end Blake Bell) placed their hands on Mahomes' pregnant belly.
Mahomes is expecting her third child with Patrick, and the three friends took a similar photo during Bell's pregnancy in last year's NFL playoffs. Mahomes also shared the two photos the trio took last season, as they prepared for Bell to have her first child. “Same girls, new bump," she said, adding a heart emoji and a crying emoji to her post.
It's another example of the continued friendship between Mahomes and Swift over the last few months, despite their seemingly different political views. Mahomes made headlines after liking a post on social media that supported Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. A few weeks later, Swift publicly endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
