Amber Luke garnered the nickname 'Blue Eyes White Dragon' after getting her eyeballs inked seven years ago. The 29-year-old tattoo model, from Australia , braved the procedure despite potential health problems. She went blind for three weeks after getting blue dye added to her eyes – and described the op as the "most brutally torturous agony" she has ever experienced.

But it seemed to pay off in the end – as she regained her vision and now loves her alternative look. As well as getting her eyes tattooed, Amber has risked more brutal procedures. In addition to covering 98% of her body in ink, she's had plastic surgery , filler a tongue-splitting operation, countless piercings and stretched.

In total, she estimates she's spent thousands on her look. So unsurprisingly, she's pretty proud to show how all the time and money has paid off for her. On Instagram , Amber recently revealed just how much her look has changed over the last 12 years.
