Saturday, September 28, 2024 The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is proud to extend its warmest congratulations to the 58 remarkable hotels across Thailand that have been honored with the prestigious MICHELIN Keys. This impressive recognition highlights the country’s excellence in hospitality, with eight hotels receiving the highest accolade of Three Keys, 19 hotels earning Two Keys, and 31 properties being awarded One Key. These distinguished hotels, located in various top travel destinations throughout Thailand, continue to set the standard for exceptional guest experiences and world-class service.
Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, said “This very first MICHELIN Key selection for Thai hotels will be instrumental in elevating the standards of Thailand’s hospitality scene, in line with the government’s vision to position the kingdom as a global tourism hub. “Reflecting this optimism is the publication of The MICHELIN Guide in Thailand, which has played a significant role in the promotion of the country as a world-class gastronomic destination.
We are very excited to be nearing the launch of the guide’s eighth edition, which will be a valuable element in further raising the awareness of Thailand as a leading destination.” Thailand has become the second Asian country to have its hospitality industry recognized by the prestigious MICHELIN Guide, with the launch of its new distinction, the MICHELIN Key, in April of this year.
