Taeyang started his career as a member of the boy band, BigBang, in 2006. Within two years of the group’s official introduction, he surprised fans by releasing his solo debut EP, Hot. Ever since then, the 36-year-old singer has carved an identity for himself as a part of the act and a solo performer.
