Listen to Story Actor Palak Sidhwani, who is seen as Sonu Bhide in the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, released an official statement, accusing the makers of exploiting her. Her statement comes after she received a legal notice from the production, alleging that she breached her initial contract. In her statement to the media, Palak denied the allegations and alleged that all she did was file her resignation and ask for an amicable separation, and it didn't go down well with the makers.

In their legal notice, Neela Films accused Palak of making "unauthorized third-party endorsements and appearances without obtaining the necessary written consent as required by her contract". The notice further stated that the actor continued with her actions "despite multiple verbal and written warnings", adding that she had "undermined the integrity of both the character and the series". However, Palak mentioned that she signed the said contract five years ago and the makers were aware of her doing social media endorsements.

She said it is only now when she has quit the show that they are trying to create issues to "make her exit difficult".
