Taapsee Pannu recently announced her collaboration with the brand Suta for their latest collection which is also named after the actress and has been termed the #TAPCollection. This particular range features a number of sarees whose designs have been chosen by Taapsee. Taapsee Pannu opens up about her collaboration with Suta for the new TAP Collection; says, “They want to see today’s modern woman embrace saree as their casual wear” Excited about entering this new venture, Taapsee Pannu opened up about her love for this Indian ethnic wear in her statement.

Confirming the collaboration and speaking about what inspired her to take this up, Taapsee said, “I don’t really believe the fact that saree can be only worn for festivals, or red carpet or big occasions for me saree was casual wear my holiday wear. Hence I wanted to associate with a brand like Suta, which thought the same way I did for sarees and loved sarees the same way I do.” She went on to add, “They also want to make sure that people will start seeing the modern era girls’ attire.

Like they want to see today’s modern woman embrace saree as their casual wear, and it doesn’t become that extra hectic piece of clothing that they save only for specific occasions.
