Sydney Sweeney has revealed the desperate levels paparazzi will stoop with photographers waiting outside her house all day, promising that if she stepped out in a bikini they would then “leave her alone”. The Washington-born star is no stranger to public opinion about her body, with Sweeney claiming her grandparents insisted that she boasted “the best t*ts in Hollywood”. The Anyone But You actor was on Thursday named the Glamour Woman of the Year and opened up about a recent experience with the paparazzi.
One day they rocked up to the 27-year-old’s new home in Florida and started yelling at her family who were outside. “They said, ‘If you tell her to just come outside in a bikini, I’ll take pictures and then I’ll leave you alone,’” she told Glamour . On social media, fans speculated that she had called the paparazzi herself, a rumour she strongly denied.
“Why would I call the paparazzi to take pictures of me at my own house when my baby cousins and family are there and I’m in my backyard,” she said. “Why would I ever want that? I have pictures of these guys in kayaks hiding in bushes in the ocean. They got there at 8am and wouldn’t leave until 4pm.
I should be able to be in my home and feel comfortable and safe.” Despite the constant negative attention she has received since becoming famous, young fans often tell Sweeney how she has made them feel more confident with their bodies. “That means a lot to me because I really believe in empoweri.
