Some of Surrey's best hotels are celebrating being awarded one of the UK's most prestigious new accolades in the hospitality industry. Selected by scrupulous Michelin inspectors, a list of the UK's best stays has been published, with some hotels you may recognise or have visited. Following anonymous stays and inspections, Michelin Keys are a new way of grading hotels across the world.

91 hotels in the UK were selected, with three different levels of the system. One key suggests a very special stay, labelled as a true gem with character and personality. The hotel goes the extra mile and provides more than other establishments of the same price.
