Suri Cruise is embarking on her next chapter. Over the weekend, Katie Holmes and her daughter touched down in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to move the 18-year-old into Carnegie Mellon University . The “Dawson’s Creek” alum was photographed helping Suri carry boxes into the college freshman’s dorm room.
The mother-daughter duo kept it casual, with Katie wearing a pale yellow button-down with light stripes, a blue shirt tied around her waist and jeans. The 45-year-old star accessorized with dark sunglasses and multiple necklaces. Suri donned a white, long-sleeved shirt, baggy blue Bermuda shorts and a flower pendant necklace.
Both ladies sported their brown hair tied back. At one point, Katie carried a massive, over-the-shoulder bag while Suri rolled a suitcase across the campus. Suri’s dad, Tom Cruise , was out of the country for the college move-in day.
The “Mission Impossible” actor is currently vacationing around the Mediterranean after pulling off a major stunt to close out the 2024 Paris Olympics. On Monday, the 62-year-old was photographed landing a helicopter at London Battersea Heliport and wore a white golf shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers for his solo flight. He completed his look with a black baseball cap and hung matching sunglasses from his collar.
Tom — who has been estranged from Suri for nearly her entire life — was smiling as he directed the helicopter through the air. Although the “Top Gun” star has kept mum on his daughter’s colleg.
