Supernatural star and soon-to-be The Boys actor Jared Padalecki is set to join the cast of Fire Country for its third season in a thrilling recurring role. The CBS drama, which has quickly become a hit for the network, features Max Thieriot of SEAL Team fame as Bode Leone, a convict firefighter battling blazes and seeking redemption in Northern California. Fans can expect the third season to hit their screens this October, with the show adding even more big names to its lineup alongside regulars Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, and Billy Burke.

According to Deadline, Padalecki will appear in a three-episode arc as a charismatic new firefighter from Southern California who stirs things up within the crew. He's widely recognized for his 15-year stint as Sam Winchester with Jensen Ackles and recently concluded a four-season run on Walker, reports the Express . In Fire Country, Jared will take on the role of Camden, described officially as a "SoCal firefighter and maverick with a surfer swagger who is a force to be reckoned with and immediately recognizes Bode's raw talent".

Although he's initially set for just three episodes, there's already buzz from Deadline about the potential for him to headline his own spin-off series. This potential spin-off would be part of an expanding franchise that includes the already commissioned Sheriff County, starring Deadpool's Morena Baccarin, slated for release in the 2025-26 season. Jared's entry into the franchise aligns perfectly with CBS CEO Ge.
