The drama follows South Londoner Michael Lasaki (played by Tosin Cole) who unexpectedly develops superpowers. After uniting with four more Black individuals with special abilities, united by a family history of sickle cell disease, they try to unlock the mystery while battling a secret organisation.
Season one received strong reviews from fans and ended with a devastating cliffhanger, so it’s no surprise that Netflix wants to continue the saga. However, many viewers felt there was still room for improvement in a follow-up and have taken to the forums with some ideas.
