Currently, actors Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The anticipation around the movie is unprecedented and, as production is currently ongoing in Film City in Mumbai, reports state that Tiwari will develop the story as a trilogy. A report by India Today quoted a source close to Tiwari saying, “Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana will be a trilogy, with the first film focusing on Ram and Sita up until Sita’s abduction by Raavana.
The second film in the trilogy will be a standalone on Hanuman led by Sunny Deol. This film will delve into it deeper with his connection to Vanwas and Sita’s abduction, followed by the third film based on the aftermath of Sita being abducted by Raavana. The film is currently being shot in parallel so that there are no long gaps between the releases of this trilogy.

On the other hand, Ravi Dubey will be seen as Laxman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha, Arun Govil as Dashrath, and Harman Baweja as Vibhishan, among others. As per reports, the shooting for the first part is almost done.
