Following the announcement that Suits actor Patrick J. Adams will join Hollywood A-lister Michelle Pfeiffer on-screen for a new Yellowstone spin-off, we have now learned more about his role in the show. The news comes as further casting decisions have been announced for the Paramount series, The Madison.

Yesterday, Paramount announced that Adams, who is best known for playing Mike Ross in the 2010 legal drama that has made a huge splash on Netflix , has officially boarded the cast of the latest Taylor Sheridan series. We have since learned Adam will play a character called Russell McIntosh, a young investment banker who “has followed the life path set before him from the start”. It comes after Pfeiffer was announced to be joining the project as both the star and executive producer.

The cast also now includes Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane) and Amiah Miller (My Best Friend's Exorcism). Adams will star opposite Chapman, who will portray Paige McIntosh. The character is described as a "somewhat self-centred woman who indulges in a luxurious New York lifestyle provided by her parents and investment banker husband”.

Meanwhile, Garrett will be taking on the part of Abigail Reese, who is a “resilient and sardonic New Yorker, who is a recently divorced mother of two. Miller will play her eldest daughter, Bridgette. The spin-off show, which has been described as "a heartfelt study of grief and human connection", sees a New York City family relocat.
