The Cholmondeley Arms , which has been on an award-winning streak since its revamp by Cheshire Cat Pubs, is nestled in the picturesque village of Cholmondeley in Cheshire, just an hour's drive from Manchester, and occupies the village's historic former schoolhouse. The National Pub and Bar Awards judges lavished praise on The Cholmondeley Arms, describing it as "one of England's most unique pubs" as they crowned it North West Pub and Bar of the Year at this week's annual event.
