The 66-year-old singer cadidly opened up in a "diary" as she went under the knife to give herself a confidence boost. After a few years of experimenting with Botox and dieting, she decided to take the plunge and go under the knife for a face lift.

Sharing all the nitty gritty details about her ordeal in 2005 Toyah wrote a book, Diary of a Face Lift, documenting each step of the way including how the decision came about and what the recovery is really like. In her book Toyah recalled taking part in ITV's I'm a Celebrity ..
