Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe was overcome with emotion as he opened up about his personal battles on today's episode of BBC's Saturday Kitchen (August 24). He joined host Matt Tebbutt and guests including chefs Hasan Semay and Georgina Hayden, as well as wine connoisseur Olly Smith, who couldn't help but praise the dancer: "I think he might be the loveliest person we've ever had on the show," Olly exclaimed, before directly complimenting Johannes, "I just think you're amazing." However, it was a later part of the show that saw Johannes reveal his vulnerabilities while discussing his upcoming role in the stage production of Kinky Boots with Matt, reports Birmingham Live .

As they were cooking a lamb dish, Matt broached the subject: "While we get on this, let's talk about Kinky Boots. Musical theatre debut, this is two years in the making, right?". Johannes explained how his producers, who also worked with him on his solo tour, secured the rights to the musical and approached him with the idea.

"They said 'Was there a musical you would love to do?' and I said Kinky Boots. You know there's nothing else out there for a tall strapping lad like me that's got a passion for heels and feathers," Johannes shared. He candidly opened up about his personal life, revealing that he had never felt able to leave his house in make-up and heels, despite his outwardly confident persona.

"As you can imagine, my life, that's what I normally do in my house when I'm by myself. .
