Amy was forced to pull out of Strictly after sustaining a foot injury and chatting to Lorraine Kelly today, she tearfully confessed she felt like she'd let her dance partner, JB Gill, down. Holding back tears, Amy said: “I’m going to do my best not to cry, and I know lots of people would say it’s an entertainment show. We were prepared that every week could be the dance off, but I’m gutted it’s ended this way.

I feel like I’ve left JB down.” Amy, 34, also added that watching the show airing this Saturday 9 November, from the side-lines will be “tough” as she wanted to celebrate one year since finishing chemotherapy on the dancefloor. She said: “Saturday is going to be tough because I really wanted to be dancing on that floor to show myself how far I’ve come in one year.

” She explained that Saturday November 9 marks a year since she rang the bell to mark the end of her chemotherapy treatment. The dancer revealed she had planned to dance the samba with her celebrity partner, JLS star JB , as she felt it would be a “joyful carnival happy dance”. With Amy needing to avoid any hard impact on her leg and foot for another couple of weeks, Amy’s co-star Lauren Oakley will continu.
