Former Strictly Come Dancing star Jody Cundy was inundated with support as he mourns the death of a family member. The Paralympian, 45, was forced to say an emotional farewell to his Cat, who has been in his life for three years. Jody announced that his beloved pet died after he was hit by a car, leaving a huge hole in their family's hearts.
Taking to Instagram , cyclist shared a gallery of snaps of Oscar, including one of them together on the sofa. The former swimmer penned an emotional message to his followers as he expressed his devastation over the tragedy. He began: "Today we said a teary goodbye to the most beautiful, fluffy affectionate cat I’ve ever known.
"Oscar was such a loved cat, with an amazing individual personality, the very sharpest claws I’ve ever known and the softest most gorgeous fur ever." Jody continued: "Sadly he was hit by a car on one of the back roads by our house last night and died. The kindness of a few managed to get him home to us this morning so we could say our heartfelt goodbyes.
"So tonight we raise a glass to the beautiful Oscar. You’ve left a whole in my heart, in @lulubo1982 ‘s and the minions, Emily & Charlotte, and your brother Monty. "You’ll be missed Oscar Bosca, but there will always be a special place in our heart for you and the joy you brought us for 3 years.
