Strictly fans have labelled it the “right result” as the bottom two and the couple who were ultimately sent packing have been unveiled ahead of tonight’s show. The iconic BBC dance competition is now in full swing with the celebrities and their professional dance partners taking to the dancefloor each week with a new routine.
This time around, it was Movie Week which saw stars delve into the worlds of The Little Mermaid, George Of The Jungle, Barbie and Lara Croft. There were a number of big scores on the night with plenty of couples getting 30 or more points including Miranda’s Sarah Hadland, singer Shayne Ward and comedian Chris McCausland. But it was former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri who topped the leaderboard with 34 points for her Rumba to Billie Eilish’s What Was I Made For?.
As lifelong fans of Strictly will know though, while the results are revealed on BBC One the following night, the actual show is pre-recorded on the Saturday evening.
