Today, it was revealed that Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has signed up to the upcoming series of the BBC show, which kicks off in the autumn.

The news was confirmed today in a huge announcement live on KISS FM. The reality star, who was born deaf and uses a cochlear implant, found fame on the eighth series of ITV2 reality show two years ago, where she met boyfriend Andrew Le Page. Tasha will become the second deaf celebrity to appear on the BBC series when she takes to the dancefloor later this year.

"I feel nervous, excited, like I'm about to throw up. It didn't feel real til I was here now, but I'm so gassed, I'm so excited," Tasha admitted to KISS Breakfast hosts Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely. Asked which professional partner she would like to be paired with, she said: "I do have a dream of who I would love to be with, I've not even met them yet.
