Strictly Come Dancing made a triumphant return this weekend with the debut of Icons week, a first in the show's 20-year history. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the show's presenters, welcomed back the remaining 10 couples to the dance floor on Saturday (November 2) night, where they celebrated their heroes from both their personal lives and the world of showbiz. However, not all can progress to the next stage of the BBC dancing competition, and an unfortunate exit is imminent.

Judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood provided their expert advice to the couples and gave their scores. Yet, the public vote could alter everything. Viewers will have to wait until Sunday (November 3) night to discover which two couples will face the dreaded dance-off and who will be sent packing.

Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal scored 22 points. Reality star Pete embodied Freddie Mercury for a Salsa performance to Another One Bites The Dust with Jowita. However, things didn't go as planned for the couple.

Pete apologised to Jowita at the end of their routine and his errors were not overlooked by the judges, reports the Mirror . Craig awarded Pete and Jowita four points while Shirley, Anton and Motsi each gave them six points, resulting in a total score of just 22 out of 40. Wynne Evans and Katya Jones scored a more respectable 30 points.

Staying 'true' to his Welsh heritage, Wynne Evans paid tribute to Dame Shirley Bassey by performing the Rumba to This is My Life.
