It's one of the most-anticipated dates in the calendar for fans of BBC Strictly Come Dancing - the day when the official line-up for the new series begins to drop. Now, after weeks of scandal surrounding the much-loved series, it's finally been confirmed that the first celebrities will be announced on Monday, August 5. While the BBC has not announced anything, ITV This Morning took to it's official Instagram account on Sunday to post what's coming up on the Monday's show.

So far nothing official has been announced but the rumoured line up includes DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and former rugby player Danny Cipriani. It's not known yet whether any contestants will be announced ahead of This Morning, which starts at 10am, or whether the ITV series will be releasing the first two names. It comes after the TV favourite, hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, was hit by a series of complaints from former contestants including actress Amanda Abbington who claimed pro-dancer Giovanni Pern.
