Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 has already garnered over Rs 23 crore at the box office and is expected to cross Rs 50 crores through the weekend. The Independence Day 2024 release has earned rave reviews from critics and normies on social media, with a few ranting that the first in the franchise, Stree (2018), was better. The sequel to the 2018 superhit is the fifth in the Maddock Supernatural Universe that shares a horror-comedy franchise including Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya, with another lore ‘Vampires of Vijaynagar’ in the pipeline.
Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank has Rajkumarr Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishekh Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and others in recurring roles, with spicy cameos and a dance number by Tamannaah Bhatia.
