Looks like Stree 2 has cast a spell that just won't fade! The Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-led horror-comedy has been scaring the competition away at the box office for over two weeks now. On its 16th day, the film pulled in a solid Rs 7.75 crore, bringing its domestic total to an impressive Rs 440.

8 crore. That's right, folks—this spooky sequel has taken over the box office like a poltergeist with no plans to leave. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 had audiences rushing to the night shows on Friday, with an overall occupancy of 17.

25%. The horror-comedy had over 4000 shows across India and was pulling in crowds left, right, and center, particularly in Mumbai (18.5% occupancy with 968 shows) and Delhi-NCR (18% with 1038 shows).

Even Ahmedabad, which hosted 588 shows, wasn't spared from Stree 2's reign of terror, with a respectable 12.25% occupancy. A post shared by Maddock Films (@maddockfilms) Maddock Films must be laughing all the way to the bank (or perhaps a haunted mansion), as they reported a Rs 453.

6 crore net haul in India after just 15 days. With global collections hovering around Rs 650 crore, Stree 2 is officially the second-biggest hit of the year, only trailing behind the gargantuan Kalki 2898 AD, which surpassed Rs 1000 crore worldwide. And in the Hindi film circuit, Stree 2 even exorcised Fighter from the top spots in its first week—talk about ghosting the competition! The second week saw Stree 2 flex its box office muscles, securing the second-highes.
