A London gangster with a history of violent offences going back over a decade has been jailed. Dylan Martin, 31, was cornered in a cul-de-sac by Essex Police in May this year after an investigation into his 'Doctor' drug line, which was raking in thousands of pounds in cash by supplying crack cocaine and heroin to Braintree, Essex, and the surrounding areas. Martin, originally from Edmonton, North London, was jailed for 15 months in 2012 for breaching a so-called 'Gangbo'.

West London County Court heard he breached a Home Office injunction 12 times by meeting with other known gang members and intimidating residents. At the time, Enfield Council told the BBC Martin was linked to numerous gangs. Now, 12 years later, Martin, of Stratford, East London, was jailed for five-and-a-half years on Friday (July 19) after admitting being concerned in the supply of crack and heroin, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, and possession of criminal property at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Prosecutors are also expected to claw back dirty money through the proceeds of crime act. Officers found Martin was the holder of the rental policy on this car and others, which was used as evidence to prove the cars were linked to the movement of known drug dealing .
