Bae Junho is the latest cover star of Arena in South Korea, dubbed the world's coolest magazine. The 20-year-old playmaker, fresh from being crowned Stoke City player of the year and winning his first senior international cap, was called up for a photo shoot to advertise luxury watch brand IWC. He poses in a host of outfits including oversized jumper, specs, a white vest and ripped jeans - and one Korean supporter asks why he was made to wear a crop top for one picture - with a head and shoulders close-up used on the front page, wrist in shot to show off a timepiece which is on sale for £12,500.

Junho is known as the South Korean King in terrace chants at Stoke while he is called the King of Stoke by the Seoul media. "We had a unique meeting with Stoke's king, the future of Korean football, Bae Junho, who made his national team debut and scored his first goal (for South Korea) in June and has recently emerged as a hot potato in the European football transfer market," says a post on Instagram by Arena.

It adds: "His appearance in front of the camera was with a calm and serious look, different from his explosive energy on the pitch." An interview with Junho will be printed in the September edition of Are.
