A baby sprinkle is a casual and smaller-scale version of a baby shower, typically held for moms who are expecting their second, third, or subsequent child. The term “sprinkle” is a play on words, as it suggests a lighter celebration compared to the more elaborate and traditional baby showers. “My mother and husband threw me the most wonderful sprinkle,” said Kaitlyn, who marveled at the thoughtful details of her shower, including a unique touch that created a memorable experience for all the guests.

Sal, the owner and founder of Flora + Dean A Boutique Floral Studio, not only created a stunning tablescape, but he also delighted the ladies with a unique detail as an homage to Kaitlyn’s love for coffee: A personal barista for the occasion! “I am definitely one of those iced latte obsessed type of girls, so when planning this event in our home I told my family that having great coffee there was important,” explained Kaitlyn, especially since she is limiting herself to one cup a day throughout her pregnancy. Enlisting the expertise of Dominic from Ferra Coffee, guests delighted in a variety of delicious espresso drinks, but they also indulged in homemade gelato for freshly-made, delicious Affogatos.
