Pune: State govt on Tuesday issued a notification terminating the services of two members of the Juvenile Justice Board in Pune for " misuse of power ". State commissioner for women and child development Prashant Narnaware told TOI on Wednesday, "The two members had faced an inquiry over the bail granted to the 17-year-old driver in the May 19 Porsche Taycan car crash with a condition of writing a 300-word essay on road safety, among other terms." He said a temporary charge would be given to other members in place of the two terminated members.

An advertisement would be released soon to fill up the vacancies, Narnaware said.
