Chandler's Ford born star Kai Widdrington has become the first Strictly Come Dancing dancer to be partnered with a drag artist. The professional dancer, who went to Toynbee School, has become a part of history after being partnered with the first drag queen in the show’s tenure. His partner, known as Tayce on stage, was a runner-up in the second series of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, and will appear alongside Widdrington on the Christmas Special of the show.

” Tayce was visibly excited about the announcement, saying: “I cannot wait to ‘sleigh’ on the Strictly Ballroom floor.
