The Star Parivaar Awards 2024 were announced on Saturday, September 21, in which Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai emerged as the winner. Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna bagged the best Patni, bahu and pita award. While Rohit Purohit won best Pati award.
The Best Beta award was won by Hitesh Bharadwaj from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Best Maa was once again bagged by Rupali Ganguly from Anupamaa, Best Chota Sadasya- Krish from Udne Ki Aasha, Most Stylish Male- Ankit Gupta (Maati Se Bandhi Dor) and Most Stylish Female- Bhavika Sharma (Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin). Amid this a video surfaced, Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly courted controversy after she and what seems to be her manager were seen riding a bike. The actress was leaving an awards show on Saturday night.
In an attempt to ditch the traffic, Rupali chose to leave the venue on a scooter. Dressed in a grand dress, the actress did not hesitate to sit on the two-wheeler. The person riding has been identified as Kaushal Joshi, who is said to be Shehnaaz Gill’s manager.
While she was lauded for her simplicity, many noticed that neither she nor the person riding the bike sported a helmet. “Why that guy is not wearing a helmet?” a comment under the video featuring the actress and her team member read. “Celebrities don’t need helmet,” another comment read.
