B&J Skate Center celebrated its 48-year anniversary with a grand reopening on Wednesday. Alyson and Jake Fisher have owned B&J Skate since 2023 , and they have renovated the space to improve the skating rink. Now that renovations are nearly done, the new owners wanted to reintroduce the skate center to the community.
Alyson Fisher said that they have worked to improve the interior of the building while also keeping the fun of the rink that St. Joseph has come to know. "The whole building has gotten a facelift," she said.
"We're working on some additional new signage outside and just wanna make sure that people know that we're investing in keeping the building in great shape for them to be able to come out and make memories." B&J Skate Center is located at 6421 N. Belt Highway.
