It’s indeed a big day for Shah Rukh Khan fans! The King Khan of Bollywood turned 59 today (November 2) and on this special occasion, his followers have been celebrating his birthday on social media. TV actress Deepshikha Nagpal, who shot to fame with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Koyla, showered love on him and revealed that he recommended her name for Baadshah. Deepshikha Nagpal is in awe of Shah Rukh Khan Deepshikha Nagpal shared screen with Shah Rukh Khan in a couple of films.
She thanked SRK for never treating her like a newcomer on the sets of Koyla. While speaking with ETimes TV, Deepshika said that she remembers those days when she would chitchat with Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of Koyla and Baadshah. Deepshikha Nagpal said, “I was a huge fan of his since Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, totally smitten by Raj.
Then, when I was doing Koyla with him, I thought, ‘Mujhe kuch ho jayega; I can’t perform in front of him!’ But he made me so comfortable; he never treated me like a newcomer. She got inspired by his dedication. She recalled SRK dancing to Ghunghate Mein Chanda Hai with an injured knee. Deepshikha now wants to work with Shah Rukh Khan again.
