IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu on Monday applauded the collaboration between IITH and Suzuki Motor to develop a navigation system for autonomous cars as a prime example of how academia and industry can come together to solve real-world challenges. Taking part in a review meeting at IIT-Hyderabad (IIT-H), Sridhar Babu said the work being done here at TiHAN is not only advancing autonomous navigation technology but also ensuring that these innovations are tailored to meet the unique needs of Indian roads.
