The TV personality, 58, looked ethereal with long tulle sleeves which draped along the ground with her long train. And while all eyes were on the remarkable gown, many missed the sparkling bespoke jewellery worth an eyewatering $997,000 draped across her body.

Sonia dazzled while wearing accessories from Australian fine, family jeweller Jan Logan, with designs made especially for the occasion. The most expensive piece was a 6.09 carat diamond ring with a double stone design worth $230,000, while the cheapest was a 3.

16 carat diamond earring worth $9,500. Other high-end accessories included the round and emerald cut diamond bracelet ($145,000), and 13 carat diamond bracelet ($110,000). The designs were made for Sonia in the Jan Logan in the Double Bay workshop by a local team of artisanal craftsmen.
