Wednesday looks to be a nice day across the region as we see the smoke continue to be pushed out of the area for another mild afternoon, with temperatures again staying in the low 70s and partly cloudy skies throughout the day. We start to see a little bit of a shift once we get to Thursday. For much of the day, we remain partly cloudy with highs staying in the low 70s, similar to Wednesday.

However, once we get into the afternoon and evening, a wave looks to slide across southern portions of Canada, which then looks to bring the chance for showers, especially overnight, across much of the region, some of which could bring a rumble of thunder. These showers look to linger off and on overnight, with showers lingering on into Friday morning before clearing out by the afternoon. With sunshine later on, highs look to get up into the upper 70s to wrap up the week, and then we have a couple sunnier days near 80 degrees on the way for the weekend.
