Police are investigating after a Los Angeles doctor to the stars was fatally shot outside the medical facility where he worked in Southern California, according to information from city officials, family and friends. As of Tuesday, The Los Angeles Police Department had not released the victim's name, but family and friends identified him as Physician Hamid Mirshojae . The 61-year-old victim, police wrote in a release, died Friday at the scene of shooting in the city's Woodland Hills neighborhood, close to where his office is at Warner Plaza Urgent Center .
