Devrey Jane LaRiccia-Chase , 28, was a professional skydiving instructor from California and a routine parachute took a devastating turn after the plane she was on encountered 'unforeseen difficulties'. Ms LaRiccia-Chase's obituary revealed the small plane went down on August 3 and resulted in the catastrophic passing of everyone onboard.

'You loved skydiving, going on trips, spending time with friends and family,' Freddy Chase, Ms LaRiccia-Chase's husband, wrote. 'No matter what it was you wanted to be in people's lives and you never complained. Having to say goodbye to you for now will forever be the hardest thing I will ever do in my life.

' Mr Chase frequently partakes in thrill-seeking dives - with the highest jump being from 18,000ft. 'I don't really get nervous anymore. I have over 800 skydives so it's pretty relaxing for me now,' he said previously.
