A sixth form college outdid itself with A-level results today. And students were joyful. The Sixth Form Bolton had a 98 per cent pass rate for A-levels this year with 72 per cent of all subjects achieving a 100 per cent pass rate.

98 per cent of its BTEC Extended Diploma students achieve higher-grade passes. And it has one of the highest national progression rates to Higher Education out of all the categories of post-16 education. Students will move on to universities across the country, progressing to study a broad range of subjects.

But, many choose to do higher and degree apprenticeships with several students at the sixth form placing at prestigious companies across the UK. Here are some of The Sixth Form Bolton's high fliers.
