Kody and Robyn, who wed in 2014, have two children together, while Robyn also has three kids, including daughters Aurora, 22, and Breanna, 19, from her previous marriage to David Preston Jessop. Kody, who follows a fundamentalist version of Mormonism, also has 16 children with his three former wives—Christine, Janelle, and Meri—with whom he was once simultaneously married.

'My mom’s kids and I have each had our own experiences being told directly—on multiple occasions by different people—that we weren’t accepted, that we weren’t seen as sisters or part of the family,' Aurora shared during Sunday’s episode. Breanna added: 'The parents could have done a better job with connecting us as a family and it never really happened.'
