Air charter operator Sirius India Airlines has announced plans to raise $100 million through debt and other financial instruments to fuel its fleet expansion and service enhancements. The company aims to capitalize on surging demand across various sectors and envisions a fleet of 50 private jets by the 2027 financial year.

As part of its long-term growth strategy, the Gurugram-based firm also plans to extend its operations to markets in the Far East, Southeast Asia, and East Africa. The aviation company launched its air charter services in collaboration with Dubai-based Transworld Group in August. According to company officials, the funding is expected to be secured by March next year.

The raised capital will primarily support fleet acquisition, domestic market strengthening, and entry into international markets. Earlier this year, Sirius India Airlines partnered with luxury private air travel brand Airavat Aviation to bring its services to India. Airavat Aviation already holds a strong presence in regions like the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Currently, Sirius operates a fleet of three luxury jets, offering services in both domestic markets and the Middle East. Highlighting the strong demand for charter travel, particularly in corporate and lifestyle sectors, the company is actively bolstering its pr.
