The makers shared that Jungle Mangal is based on events that have happened, and events that are about to happen and the events that shall continue to happen as long as men, women and nature continue to exist. Jungle Mangal is set in a semi-montane forest in Malenadu, a unique town located at the meeting point of two regions — above and below the ghats.

The film promises a rich blend of cultural diversity, mystery, and romance, all against the backdrop of a dense forest. Over half of the movie has been shot in the picturesque forests near Subrahmanya. The supporting cast includes Ugramm Manju, Bala Rajwadi, and others. Director Rakshit Kumar, hailing from Puttur, shared that the film is produced by Sahyadri Studios, with Simple Suni presenting the film. The movie has completed filming and is set for release in the coming month.

Speaking about the project, Yash Shetty said, “The real hero of this film is the story. It’s unique and compelling. Originally, I was slated to play Ugramm Manju’s role, but the director later entrusted me with the lead.
