SIGA secures contract by U.S. DOD for procurement of $9M of TPOXX

SIGA Technologies ( NASDAQ: SIGA ) on Wednesday announced a new contract with the U.S. Department of Defence for the procurement of about $9M of TPOXX.

The company added that the award was composed primarily of oral TPOXX, with a small amount of intravenous TPOXX, and represents the third procurement contract award from the DOD over the past three years. Inclusive of this award, SIGA currently has about $154M of outstanding oral and IV TPOXX orders. Press release.
