SHREVEPORT, La. — A Shreveport man was arrested Tuesday night after a confrontation with a security guard at a local grocery store. Shreveport police responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Kroger on Mansfield Road just after 7 p.
m. The suspect, Tellas Hill, was seen on surveillance footage pulling on car door handle and stealing items from a car. When confronted by a security guard, Hill allegedly pulled a gun.
The guard was able to pull the gun away from Hill, he then fled the scene on foot. Police arrested Hill after a brief chase. He faces charges of theft, aggravated assault with a firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
No injuries were reported..
