Shoppers have been racing to Home Bargains in order to snag an “amazing” £2.49 face cream they believe is similar to a £62 luxury brand one. Beauty bloggers have recommended the Dizzy Panda face peptide cream that is part of a wider skincare range at the budget store.

They have compared it to the peptide cream from Drunk Elephant currently retailing for £62 a pot. One beauty influencer, known as Ella , filmed herself hunting for the low-cost version in her local store. Speaking to her more than 140,000 followers, she said: “Here's how to get the Drunk Elephant experience under budget.

Home Bargains has released a new skincare line called Dizzy Panda and it's literally giving Drunk Elephant. “So obviously I went to my local Home Bargains to come and find out. Obviously I had to have it.

I looked in the aisles first in the skincare and toiletry section and then we've spotted the goods.” Ella filmed herself finding the product, saying: “The price point is really good, £2.49.

” She added: “I heard people say, ‘Oh, because it's cheap you're going to get acne’. That's the same risk you have with high-end products just that you're paying more for the acne. “Anywho, I just had to have a look at it.

They also didn't have the rest of the range in my Home Bargains, I found the last two products they had in my store.” One of her followers commented under the video: “It’s so good I have it.” While another said: “I got the face wash for my birthday and it.
